Select Create > Annotation or click to create a new annotation. This will prompt a window to enter the text of the annotation. The new annotation is created as a child of the object selected in the Object List.
Draw and Edit
By default, annotations appear at the center of the parent object, but they can be manually relocated using manipulators or changing their transform attributes. Moving an annotation will draw an arrow from the annotation to the center of its parent (if there is one).
The font size and the text color of annotations can be customized under Edit > Preferences.
Annotations always face the user.
