Select Create > Annotation or click on the Toolbar to create a new annotation. Next, you will be prompted with the following window to enter the text of the annotation.
The new annotation is created as a child of the selected object. If multiple objects are selected, the new annotation will appear at the origin without a parent.

Draw and Edit
By default, annotations appear at the center of the parent object, but they can be manually relocated using manipulators or changing their transform attributes. Moving an annotation will draw an arrow from the annotation to the center of its parent (if there is one). Annotations always face the user.
The font size of annotations can be customized under Edit > Preferences > Settings > Font size.
To change the text of an annotation, select the annotation and then change its text property in the Object Inspector:
|TIP: Annotations are included in orthophotos and camera animation videos.|
