Tools > Mesh > Extrude
Creates a 3D mesh surface from a curve.
- Curves can be extruded in the X, Y, or Z directions.
- Extrude length specifies the length of the extrusion. You can use negative values to extrude in the opposite direction.
This controls whether the extruded object is a mesh or a NURBS. NURBS option is reserved for future use.
You can control the level-of-detail of the extruded object. The Distance method subdivides curves into equal-sized edges, where the Distance parameter controls the length of these edges. With the Count method, curves are subdivided into a maximum number of Count edges. Polylines are not subdivided.
To start the extrusion, select one or more curves and then click the Extrude button.
